Adventitious Root Regeneration: Molecular Basis and Influencing Factors
نویسندگان
چکیده
Plant regeneration is a self-repair of the plant body in response to adverse conditions or damaged structures, and root allows better adapt its environment by supplementing roots’ structure. Previous research has shown that adventitious roots can be made occur from scratch two ways. Studies simulate through natural allow process broadly divided into three stages: perception early signals, massive accumulation auxin, transformation cell fate. The strength regeneration, turn, influenced wounding, stress, hormones, etc. This study mainly reviews molecular mechanisms de novo discusses how environment, own development Arabidopsis thaliana.

Biochemical Basis of Adventitious Root Formation on Etiolated Stem Segments
Segments (2.5-cm-long) of Populus nigra L. obtained from etiolated axillary branches did not root in water or auxin alone, but rooted in 0.5% ribose, glucose and sucrose and more profusely with 0.1 mg/1 in dole-acetic acid (IAA) or in dolebutyric acid (IBA) added to the medium. 5-fluorodeoxyuridine (FUDR), 5-fluorouracil (FU), actinomycin-D and cycloheximide inhibited rooting. The deoxyribonucl...

Adventitious rooting is an essential step in the vegetative propagation of economically important horticultural and woody species. Populus has emerged as an experimental model for studying processes that are important in tree growth and development. It is highly useful for molecular genetic analysis of adventitious roots in trees. In this short review, we will highlight the recent progress made...
متن کاملAbiotic Factors Influencing Tropical Dry Forests Regeneration
Tropical dry forests represent nearly half the tropical forests in the world and are the ecosystems registering the greatest deterioration from the anthropogenic exploitation of the land. This paper presents a review on the dynamics of tropical dry forests regeneration and the main abiotic factors influencing this regeneration, such as seasonal nature, soil fertility and humidity, and natural a...
متن کاملGetting to the root of regeneration: adventitious rooting and callus formation.
The capacity of plants to regenerate is impressive. Plant cells can undergo somatic embryogenesis in culture, forming an embryo from a single cell or a group of somatic cells. In addition, plants exhibit de novo organogenesis, in which new organs and even entire plants are produced from other organs upon wounding. Almost as remarkable as the phenomenon of plant regeneration is how little we kno...
